ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID Sealed proposals for the Phase 2A Sitework project at the Newman Road Campus will be received online via the PennBid Program (www.ebidexchange.com/pennbid) by Lewisburg Area School District until 1:00 PM, Prevailing Time, on Friday, March 8, 2019, and will be publicly opened and read aloud at 1:10 PM at Linntown Intermediate School, Central Office Conference Room, 1951 Washington Avenue, Lewisburg, PA 17837 via PennBid. Project Bidding documents will be available online at no cost to Bidders on or after January 31, 2019 via the PennBid Program (www.ebidexchange.com/pennbid). The bids must cover all costs for the completion of this project as set forth in the Project Manual. The principal items of work to be performed under the contract are: 1) earthwork and grading operations; 2) erosion and sediment controls; 3) storm water management controls/facilities; 4) underground utility piping; 5) aggregate and bituminous paving; and 6) work of similar nature. It should be noted that the project contains a Base Bid and two Add Alternates. Bid security in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid will be required in the form of certified check, cashier's check, bank treasurer's check, or satisfactory bid bond made payable to or naming as obligee Lewisburg Area School District. All bids will remain irrevocable for 60 days after the actual date of bid opening in compliance with Act 317 of 1978 approved November 26, 1978. Bidders are advised that they must comply with All State anti-kickback regulations pertaining to work associated with this project. You are required to submit an executed anti-collusion statement with the bid. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442 - Session of 1961) shall apply to this project, as defined within the Project Manual, since this contract is estimated to cost more than $25,000.00. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract and each with satisfactory corporate surety, will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder at the time stated in the specifications.
